    • Thanks! I’ll never get tired of hearing things like that from my readers. Take a look at my other reply in this thread for information on future releases.

    • Book Three, aka Death By Degrees won’t be out until Spring 2013. There is a lot more research involved in this one due to it having an international scope, and it’ll probably come in quite a bit longer than the first two.

However, The Homicide Files: Full Fathom Five, the first in a series of novellas set prior to A Dream of Death will be out in October (just a couple of weeks from now). It takes place three years prior and is the first homicide Lincoln and Kara worked together.

Thanks for the question and stay tuned for updates on Death By Degrees.

  1. I am trying to figure out how to get on your mailing list??? That way when your new book comes out I will be notified. If you can please let me know. I love the 2 books I’ve read by you & can’t wait for more!!! Have a great day & always remember it could be worse….;)

    • You should just be able to enter your information if you click “Newsletter” in the top menu bar. If it still doesn’t work, I can add you myself (your e-mail address is visible to me, but not to others). I hope it works for you! Let me know if it doesn’t.

I’m glad you liked the first two… and Lincoln may disagree with you on the “remember it could be worse”! Hopefully book three will be easier on him…

(insert shameless plug here) I’ve written a novella set before A Dream of Death as well, called Full Fathom Five. Might help fill the gap until Death by Degrees is released.

  2. Harrison–
I am really busy with work right now and have no business reading for leisure, BUT I can’t put down ‘A Dream of Death’. Almost done! Loving it! I have already downloaded all of your books to read while I travel the next few weeks. Well done! I look forward to chatting one day,

    • Marilyn,

Sorry to keep you from your work… but reading instead of working is still being productive. Glad to hear you’ve liked the books and I’ll make sure to let you know when the third one is out. Have fun on your travels! We’ll get the chance to chat someday soon.

      Thanks for the comments!

  3. I just recently finished your Dream of Death book, and I have to say, it was one of the best I have read in a while. That coming from a person that is constantly reading. I truly look forward to being able to buy the other books when I get the money. I am sure that they will be just as extraordinary as the first.

    • Jes,

Thank you! Glad that you liked it, and an endorsement from such an avid reader is a wonderful thing. I hate to see people not able to enjoy reading due to cost, so check your email for some free weekend reading!

      Regards,

      Harrison

    • Sorry for the late reply, but yes, there will be a fourth (and maybe more). I’m hoping to have it ready for release in the early Spring. I’m hard at work on it and it’s going well, so with any luck you’ll have it soon. After that, I’ll be taking a break from Lincoln to work on some other projects, but it is likely that I’ll be returning to the series later. I have a few more mysteries for Lincoln to solve.

  4. Just have to say how much I love your books. Have read two and about to start another. I do have a question. I know English varries but do Canadians say “Kara and I” as opposed to Americans who say “Kara and me”?

    • Ah yes, the “… and me”. We do say “… and me” here as well, unless your grammar is mediocre. 😉 It was an error on my part, but then I left it in as I felt it was more authentic since the majority of people I’ve spoken with tend to be very confused about when to use “I” and when to use “me”. It seemed to fit Lincoln. However, I’ve had a few readers point it out so I have changed it going forward, and also I intend to fix it in the previous titles and reissue them.

I’m glad you’ve liked the books and hopefully you’ll enjoy number four once it is released!

  5. Hey! I am in the AC lounge and am disappointed I could not get your new book for my iPad. Hopefully soon!
    Congratulations!
